Wearable Art- A photoshoot at Bliss

We had the pleasure of meeting the sophisticated lady behind Vivienne Morgan Millinery. Here's what she had to say about her floral experience at Bliss:

Vivienne Morgan Millinery SS16 collection was inspired by English country garden festivals, and florals are the recurring theme throughout the collection. The collection includes a number of crowns and tiaras which are a key look for SS16.

We wanted the shoot location to complement the floral theme. Bliss flowers in the World Trade Centre, Abu Dhabi was the perfect choice of location for our photoshoot with model Angela Beitz and photographer Shamin de Varax.

We chose a palette of pink, dark purple and white flowers, including hydrangeas and tulips, as the backdrop to coordinate with the flowers on the headpieces and the Oscar de la Renta dress. The metallic gold and silver pieces in the collection also popped vividly again the sea of fresh blooms.

The bountiful fresh flowers smelt heavenly, as we captured the gentle caress of the flowers in the editorial shots.

As well as her ready-to-wear collection, Vivienne Morgan Millinery creates bespoke hats and headpieces for Dubai World Cup, Royal Ascot, weddings and other social occasions. Contact her via email or Instagram handle @vmmillinery for further details.
